Material Request Production Engineer opportunity with a world leading semiconductor organisation on a long term contract basis. Based in The Netherlands the Production Engineer will contribute to a department which introduces new products and corresponding processes from Development into Volume) production.Job Mission
Lead the newest systems to even better designs with respect to material choices and functionality, by investigating and deciding on components and materials and standardising them.
Job Description
* You are able to investigate all relevant information of standard components and compare them with the requirements of the requestor, while making sure that these parts do not contain a contamination risk, and that the supplier is capable to deliver to company standards,
* Check the reliability of the standard component and get proof from manufacturer or by performing additional tests
* Investigate all relevant processes at a possible supplier, which have impact on the organisation and discuss the impact
* Investigate the request and its impact and guide the requesting project team to find the optimum solution
* Analyse current project requirements
* Set up procedures and WoW for e.g. process control, process maintenance, process ownership, publication and training purposes
* Perform under high time pressure with a height frequency of interrupts as well as creative in finding solutions
* Experience with computer applications as SAP, MS-Office, Visio.
Education
BSc with 2-5 years of relevant experience (or MBO+ with 5-10 years) with standard components in a cleanroom environment.
Possible educational directions: Material Science, Mechanical Engineering, Physics
Experience
2-5 years of experience in:
* A production environment with high tech products and complex production processes
* Theoretical and practical experience on quality process within large organisations
* Experience with documenting your work for others
* Express natural authority on the subjects in combination with good communication / human relations skills.
