A Software Engineer is required by a global leading semiconductor organisation on a long term contract basis. These systems are used by the major semiconductor manufacturers to create integrated circuits that power an array of electronic, communications and IT products.

Job Mission
In close co-operation with colleagues from software and other disciplines (mechatronics, optics, electronics) the software engineer is a member of a multi-disciplinary team. In these teams software plays an important role for the success of us. Since software is an integrating competency, it is an essential added value for us. You will be involved at all stages of specifying, designing, testing and integrating the advanced software for use in our world-leading products. Job Responsibilities
The Software Engineer is responsible for creating clear specifications, making the efficient design choices, to 'make it happen' by also implementing the design and verifies the implementation. Customer satisfaction is the number one driver for US and thus for every software engineer.

Job Requirement
• Bachelor or Master level with an education in Computer Science or Informatics or an education in Embedded Systems, Mechatronics, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering.
• 3+ years experience in software programming. Demonstrable expertise in C, C++, object oriented programming, Unix/Linux, Solaris, Python, and software configuration management (ClearCase).

• Pro-active, self-starter, decisive, takes ownership • Strong communicator with a pragmatic attitude. • Real team player with quality orientation. • Good knowledge of English.
