Full Time : The appointment will be on UCL Grade 7. The salary range will be £32,375 - £39,132 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.

UCL Advances, has won a bid from the ERDF (European Regional Development Fund) to work on a programme called DECIDE (Digital Enterprise: Collaborative Innovation, Development and Evaluation) which will deliver a unique, in-depth service helping innovate London SME’s to test their new products and services, gain customer feedback and ensure its technical feasibility. UCL DECIDE will help them achieve that by offering access to UCL as a “living-lab” that provides controlled conditions for testing their innovations through access to UCL’s 32,000 members, extensive physical estate, IT infrastructure and other assets.

The Technical Services Co-ordinator has a pivotal role to ensure the implementation of the mobile app deployment and app-store services. The role includes helping design, prototype and run mobile app deployment and app-store platforms, as well as helping develop the best practice policy and guideline documents for development, testing and deployment.

The ambition is that the learning outcomes from the DECIDE programme will create a stable Mobile App-Store service that can become part of UCL Advances standard business support services. This role is initially funded till 30 September 2014.

DECIDE is a complicated, diverse and ambitious programme. You must have highly developed leadership skills, be an effective people manager and skilful team player, and ensure effective communications to the DECIDE team.

You must be able to demonstrate excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, the ability to think imaginatively in strategic terms, the ability to take on responsibility and exercise leadership skills and skills in managing projects effectively.

Specifically you need to be able to demonstrate the experience and competencies, or their equivalents in other fields listed in the job description.

Salary:

The salary range will be £32,375 - £39,132 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.
