X2 Senior .NET Developers Required for Exciting opportunity in Sweden
6 months initially - starting weeks off over Xmas)
(Accomodation shall not be provided)
Rate - £425pd
The following tasks are foreseen:
" Implement and maintain new and existing systems developed by the section, and based on the .NET framework;
" Maintain the code base and fix bugs as reported in Team Foundation Server;
" Provide third-level support to the ICT Infrastructure section;
" Contribute to the planning and execution of test activities to ensure an acceptable quality.
" Report to the head of the .NET development group.
Competences and skills
" Proven experience with system maintenance, further development and refactoring of existing systems.
" Proven knowledge of C# and the .NET framework
" Proven knowledge of ASP.NET
" Proven knowledge of T-SQL and experience with MS SQL Server
" Proven experience in Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) and Entity Framework (EF) in .NET 4.
" Proven experience with implementation of SOAP and web services
" Experience with data-oriented and metadata-driven systems advantageous.
" Experience of SharePoint is advantageous
" Experience with the tools is advantageous:
o Visual Studio 2010
o Team Foundation Server
o ASP.NET
o MS SQL Management Studio/MS SQL Profiler
o RedGate SQL Compare and RedGate SQL Data Compare
