Project Description:
Project is to migrate ~2200 BizTalk and SSIS interfaces from Legacy platform onto new FMO (future mode of operation) platform. Core project team works with IBM (Testing Centre of Excellence) and Wipro (Migration of interfaces) as well as Shell staff and external contractors to deliver these migrated interfaces on this cross-enterprise project.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Document source/target applications, competence centers, process areas, etc. for interfaces
- Determine life cycle status of the interfaces and the relevant applications using tools like APEX, EPIMS, etc.
- Engage with the Business IT organization to identify focal points for migration support & business focal points for test execution & signoff
- Engage with the focal points during the overall migration process
- Determine business criticality & complexity of interfaces by engaging with the interface focal points
Technical Skills and Experience:
MANDATORY:
- Knowledge of and experience with integration technologies like (BizTalk, SSIS, etc.)
- Experience with engaging the Business IT & Support organizations
- Understanding to determine the complexity of interfaces
- Experience in working in large scale analysis of data in spreadsheets and can produce results with quick turnaround time
- Experience with Excel and can work with VLookups, Pivot Tables, etc.
Soft Skills and Experience:
MANDATORY:

- can put together good presentation materials
- can engage with the Business IT & Support stakeholders to obtain their commitment on the migration plans.
