Role and Responsibilities
This position is responsible for working interdependently with a team of developers to develop and implement business applications supporting initiatives within the Motor Vehicle Division of 3M.
This includes working with team lead to create and or utilize technical specifications to provide enhancements and new development to an existing suite of applications, while adhering to standards and guidelines within 3M MVSS.
The candidate should have a solid understanding of Object Oriented programming and programming principles, a solid understanding of .NET, experience debugging and analysing code, and working with team members to ensure a high quality end product
Qualifications and Education Requirements
. Minimum 5 years of experience coding in .NET with emphasis on C# as a programming language, SQL Server , MVC, Entity Framework, jQuery
. n-Tier software development background
. Ability to communicate effectively within the team to ensure current organization standards and procedures are met.
. Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills required.
. College Degree in related field or equivalent work experience. Relevant job experience will also be considered in lieu of a degree
Preferred Skills
. Experience with large-scale enterprise applications deployment using .NET.
. T4 templates, AJAX, WCF, HTML 5 preferred
. Commitment to continuing professional development.
. Experience in the Motor Vehicle Industry preferred
