On behalf of our client in the Life Science industry, Harvey Nash is looking for a Outsourcing Manager for a 12 month project in Switzerland.
You are responsible for:
researching CRO capabilities utilizing in-house and external resources identifying a pool of candidate CROs for project consideration defining the work specifications and preparing requests for proposal managing the competitive bidding process selecting the optimal CRO based upon quality, cost and time factors negotiating contract terms, pricing and payment schedule, ensuring that the agreements with the CRO's are commercially advantageous producing the final contract and securing necessary departmental approvals ensuring adherence to project schedule and budget producing in-process (quarterly) and close-out CRO performance appraisals, soliciting input from Novartis team members and providing input to upper level management of the CRO Requirements
Minimum of 5 years' experience in running international clinical trials Familiarity with the CRO market Understanding of contracts (including basic legal understanding of terms & conditions) Strong oral and written communication skills Strong analytical skills/diplomacy Willingness to take responsibility/decision maker Good team player Strong negotiation skills/diplomacy Experience with intercultural teams Fluent spoken and written English (other languages an advantage) Are you available immediately, have experience working within a Life Science company?
