Due to the continued success of this Medical Device company, my client is currently recruiting for a Quality Engineer to join their Limerick based facility. As a member of this team, the successful candidate will be expected to identify and implement improvements within a high volume, fully automated manufacturing environment. They will also be responsible for analysis, identification and implementation of manufacturing and/or business process improvements which will improve capability and performance.Key Skills/Responsibilities:
- Drive continuous improvements through data driven approaches and monitoring of quality systems.
- Have demonstrated experience and implementation of using lean manufacturing, six sigma, or similar analysis tools.
- Use of appropriate statistical techniques to monitor process performance (e.g. SPC , CpK analysis, sampling techniques).
- Provide leadership and support to investigation activities
- Proven track record of implementing projects.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Maintains control of changes on site ensuring compliance to relevant procedures and regulatory guidance/industry standard.
- Good level of technical and analytical skills.
Education/Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering, Science or equivalent is required, preferably with Quality Engineering included.
- Minimum of 2 - 3 year experience in a similar field required.
