Background

My client is a major public sector organisation involved in the administration and assessment of threats across the EU to human health posed by diseases.

The team is now looking for a Project Manager to work in the IT Service Management team.

Tasks:

  • To sustain the development/maintenance of the ICT Service Catalogue;
  • To develop and agree internal as well external Service Level Agreements (SLA);
  • To manage the development and implementation of the IT service management methodology ITIL;
  • To manage the portfolio of IT related service management projects;
  • To support further development of the Service Management Tool Landesk Service Desk Console.

Deliverables:

  • An updated ICT Service Catalogue;
  • Internal/external Service Level Agreements;
  • Constant improvements of the LanDesk Service Desk environment to meet the changing requirements;
  • Improved ITIL processes;
  • Implementation of new ITIL processes.
  • Minimum 8 years' experience in IT of which minimum 4 years' experience in IT service Management.
  • ITIL certified plus practical experience with ITIL implementation and service level management is mandatory;
  • Some experience with a project management tool.
  • Proven experience with quality procedures.
  • Good knowledge and experience with the design of the Service Management Tool Landesk Service Desk Console
  • Good knowledge and experience using Crystal Reporting Tools;
  • Project Management certification;
  • High level of service orientation;
  • Experience of working in an international working environment;
  • Experience of working in a public sector environment.
  • Ability to demonstrate knowledge of the Business Framework COBIT;
    • Able to write reports and give presentations.

Skills:The role would suit a Project Manager who has already worked in the Public/Health/Pharmaceutical sectors before.
