Our client is building a new warehouse and at the same time changing their WMS and WCS is existing warehouses.
They are currently in the preparation phase for the implementation of a new warehouse management system (WMS, Manhattan) in the new DC and in three of existing DCs in Laakdal and in Herentals, Belgium. Key success factor is to align the design of supporting systems to the process design of new and existing operations and create an integration strategy for the new warehouse management system (WMS) and the warehouse control system (WCS)
It is expected that the consultant partner provides experience in mainly WCS and its integration into WMS. We are looking for a person that can be the integrator between the warehouse process team of the new/existing DC and the WMS team. The person needs to support the client in selecting the best and most appropriate WCS for their running and new operations and the functional development of the interfaces between the WMS and WCS (and other system software). We are also looking for a person that understands warehouse processes and can effectively advise the client on the best set up of the system solution depending on the running and new operations and warehouse processes. Strong business affinity is required.
WCS (Warehouse Control System) knowledge is KEY and Full time available as from 4th November.
3-5 years or more experience in this area.
