Job Title: EDU and YPU Programme Coordinator
Job Type: Fixed Term: 1-year contract. Full-time 37.5 hours per week
Department: Therapy
Location: Capio Nightingale Hospital, Marylebone, London

Main Purpose of Role
To co-ordinate the planning and delivery of therapy programmes on the Eating Disorders Unit and Adolescent ward. To contribute to the development and delivery of groups and patient meetings and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to provide patient feedback in compliance with Hospital policies and regulations.

Role Summary
? Take leadership responsibility for the Eating Disorders and Adolescent therapy programmes.
? Facilitate groups in accordance with the group therapy programmes.
? Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary team members.
? Comply with Professional Codes of Conduct and regulatory governing bodies' standards of practice and guidelines.
? Participate in the implementation of care pathways to support the needs of each patient, aimed at achieving best outcomes.

Main Responsibilities & Key Result Areas
? Develop individually tailored treatment plans and assess suitability of alternative programmes for patients required to engage in a split programme.
? Liaise with multi-disciplinary team members regarding specific patient issues.
? Provide advice, guidance and consultation to other professionals contributing directly to the treatment of inpatients and day care patients.
? Advise/co-work with other professionals and agencies involved in the patient's care, to address potential complications.
? Liaise with multi-disciplinary team members, during admission and prior to discharge, to ensure continuity of care.
? Contribute to the delivery of eating disorders skills workshops/training and the development of awareness for a range of other professional groups.
? Facilitate weekly community meetings on the ward.
? Participate in internal duties as requested by the multi-disciplinary team, including participation in the induction and active involvement of attending patients.
? Fulfil the role of an active team member.
? Resolve and adapt to short notice changes in programmes and schedules.
? Contribute to patient reviews in hand-overs; clinical team meetings and ward rounds
? Take initiative in the implementation of innovative interventions aimed at facilitating behavioural change; improving quality of life and independent functioning.
? Facilitate monthly EDU multi-disciplinary meetings and distribute meeting minutes.
? Liaise with EDU nursing staff.
? Educate EDU nurses on working with EDU patients.
