Our client is a Global Technology Company with operations in Leixlip, Co Kildare. They currently have an opportunity for an experienced ETL Developer working on the Graphics Solution Business.

  • This is a key role in our organization to ensure data assets are supported by Enterprise Data Architecture in achieving its strategic goals.
  • As an ETL Developer you will be working in a multi-disciplinary team to understand business requirements, assist in the analysis of source systems, design, build and test and put into production ETL jobs.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for translating business requirements into ETL jobs following ETL standards.
  • Assist with the development and enforcement of ETL standards
  • Serve as an expert ETL Developer overseeing and promoting adaption to Enterprise Data Architecture Principles across the team.
  • Assist with the development of enterprise standard ETL jobs including design of row level security, job auditing and recovery
  • Ensure that the application design aligns with corporate standards, IT application and technology roadmap in support of the end-state vision
  • Understand, influence and provide feedback on Datamodelling scenarios in support of end2end data, processes and assets.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Experienced data architect with broad understanding of all components in a large applications and complex data solutions
  • Knowledge of data warehouse architecture principles, patterns and methodologies and demonstrate expertise in a variety of technology concepts (Kimball preferred)
  • Strong ETL, database experience with at least 3 years' experience using Datamodelling software, SQL Server , Informatica (ISS 2.0 & 3.0, PowerCenter 8.6 & 9.5) or similar ETL tool.
