Senior Java Developer with .NET
Fantastic opportunity for Senior Java Programmer with C# and architecture experience to join a technology company that is taking the health care industry by storm. You will doing full life cycle new development, enhancements, and maintenance.
You must be a well rounded Programmer that can hit the ground running and make an impact. We are looking for Programmers who have a passion for technology and can come up with creative technical solutions. You must have the ability to dive into an existing application and figure out how to do customizations and enhancements for external customers. Your focus will be Java development, however, you will also be working with .NET for interfacing to other systems and helping a team that is development the next generation application that will replace the existing application in C#.NET.
You must be self managed and proactive. Any experience with healthcare claims and Agile/Scrum would be a huge plus.
We will consider contract or contract to hire, however, prefer direct hire. Position is based in Midtown. We will also consider contract and contract to hire. Preference for SOA, SaaS, HTML5, JQuery, Oracle,SQL Server, and XML. Great opportunity to make an impact.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- 8 + years of Java Development experience
- Architecture experience
- Experience developing in C#.NET
- Object Oriented development experience
- Ability to dive into an existing application and figure out how to do enhancements and customizations
- Very consultative and collaborative personality
- Passionate about technology
- Self managed and motivated
- Very good communication skills
