Well Servicing LeadMidland, TX
My client is a leading, international E&P Company looking for a Well Servicing Lead to join its office in Midland, Texas. This candidate will join the Well Servicing team.
Job Description:
- Supervise WST engineers and engineering technicians
- Provide recommendations, procedures, and cost estimates for fishing operations and casing leak repairs to ADT engineers
- Fill out regulatory forms and write plugging procedures for wells in assigned areas
- Make recommendations to improve efficiency and cost effectiveness of operations
- Assist with training of new WST and ADT engineers
- Participate in frac scheduling
- Participate in spill response and uncontrolled releases
- Make and arrange presentations to WST and others on new technology
- Perform evaluations of engineering staff
- Fill in for WST manager for matters relating to engineering issues as necessary
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in well servicing or production engineering
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in petroleum engineering or technical field
- Management and supervisory experience preferred
- Oilfield economics knowledge
- Knowledgeable of artificial lift methods, well pulling, fishing operations, drilling operations, and well control techniques
