FIX/QA Analyst

Our client is looking to fill a position for a FIX/QA Analyst in Manhattan. Salary is 80-110K. H1B visas are applicable, F1 and OPT will not be accepted. No relocation assistance available.



Job Description

Working with API Technology team with primary focus on divisions such as fixed income and credit products. Candidate will be in continued communication with the Credit division; working in product management, development, client support personnel and quality assurances. Main responsibility will be to enhance growth of FIX-based API services. Designing and implementing automated test strategies to improve efficiency of systems.



Key Responsibilities



- Leading quality assurance team for developments and improvements of the FIX-based API services

-Perform and maintain automated functional and regression testing on internally-developed applications to ensure that they can be implemented into production stages

- Work with client integration projects, such as API Conformance/Certification tests to support customer on-boarding process

- Manage and report all software issues and test activities through software development life cycle

- Analyze and address client inquiries on API integration

- Aid in development of internal API monitoring and support tools



Requirements



- Must have exceptional organization skills

- Experience in handling multiple project deliverables

- Bachelor's degree (major in computer science, engineering, finance or mathematics

-Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- At least 3 years experience in mastery of FIX protocol

- At least 3 years experience in automation testing

- Experience with electronic trading client connectivity, FpML and VeriFIX is preferred

- Confident with SQL and at least one scripting language

- Understanding SQA and SDLC practices

- Extensive experience with functional testing, automated test strategies and test cases

- Comfortable with Windows OS platforms and applications

- Ready to work in a fast paced, demanding environment

- Basic knowledge of credit default swaps and fixed-income products

- Drive to attain extensive knowledge of credit default swaps and fixed-income products
