DBA/SQL DBA/SQL/SSIS/SSRS/SSAS/T-SQL/Optimisation

SQL Server DBA / Developer is required to join a west ofScotland based organisation on an initial 6 month contract. You will have solid experience of SQL Server 2005/8 administration and development.

Type: 6 Month+ Contract

Rate: £300 to £400 per day DOE

Location: Glasgow

Start Date: 4th to 11th November
Essential



  • 5 years SQL experience (2008R2).
  • SQL Server administration experience.
  • SQL Server development experience.
  • Strong knowledge on how to implement Stored Procedures, Triggers and Cursors, Views, Database Normalization and De-normalization, Replication, Database performance, Indexing
  • Experience with database performance diagnosis / tuning and monitoring tools.
  • T-SQL design and development.
  • SSRS / SSIS / SSAS experience
Desirable



  • Oracle 11g integration experience


The ideal candidate will be able to work with 'non-IT' personnel and have strong inter-personal skills.
