Proteus Europe are currently seeking a Software Engineer (Graduate)We are looking for some bright Linux programmers who are passionate about programming systems for the Linux platform. Our client is seeking some graduate Linux engineers who have some programing experience with either C or Perl or perhaps any TCP/IP. Our client develops city wide mesh systems with Linux all to aid the intelligent cities of the now and near future. The work itself will require attention to detail as you will be working on lots of small packages and then helping them integrate together into a much larger city wide system, it is heavy duty R&D working with some brilliant mathematical engineers who will of course mentor you.
We are also looking for active people as a large percentage will be in the office working with the teams, but the role will also involve walking outside in the real world to test that the systems are working as they should, so a waterproof overcoat will be part of this role! There are plenty of opportunities to develop and also potential trips abroad to oversee implementations in overseas cities, should you desire to see a bit more of the world.
