Description
An exciting opportunity to join a specialist high-end manufacturer of niche products into data centres has arisen for a Quality Assurance Manager.You will report into the Engineering Director, with your main duties being to maintain the ISO 9001 system, running internal audits, ensuring overall quality.
You will also have to liaise with the companies counterpart office in the USA. On occasion you may have to travel to the USA for meetings, but this is very rare.
As a company they have a very close, friendly and 'no blame' culture. With 44 people on site, they have a UK turnover of £4M and a group turnover of £130M, and are just about to release a new product in acceleration that will see them overtake all their competitors!
The ideal candidate will:
- Have experience with ISO 9001 / IPC 60950 is desirable
- Be willing to work in Taunton / Travel when necessary (this will be rare)
- Independent - you will be responsible for running the entire QA operation.
It's a great chance to join a very specialist company - basic salary between £35,000 - £40,000 for the right candidate, private health-care and pension are also included.
