German speaking Infrastructure/Application Project Manager

Our client, headquartered in Zurich, is an important subsidiary of a global company in the finance industry.

We are looking for a Project Manager with infrastructure and application background who can start as soon as possible.

Responsibilities:

- Managing IT infrastructure programs/projects according to client standard project management methodology.

- Plan project work.

- Manage dependencies and deliver results.

- Manage issues, risks and risk mitigation actions.

- Develop and manage stakeholders according to program or project governance.

- Manage reporting and sign-offs with senior stakeholders.

- Communicate according needs to management or technicians on different levels.

The role allows for the candidate to develop a wide range of competencies and exposure to Senior Management. In the long term development is available to Senior Management roles or specialization in key areas of Infrastructure development.

Requirements:

- Degree or higher education in Information technology, business/economics or equivalent.

- Multi-Year experience as IT project manager in projects involving coordination across multiple teams (preferable in IT infrastructure environment or platform engineering; eg ITIL).

- Fluent in both German and English.

- Extensive experience in implementation and methodologies (certification on level IPMA-B or PMI-PMP) and understanding of change programs in particular.
