A highly regarded Federal Government department based in Canberra is looking to engage an experienced Incident Manager to join their ICT team on an initial 5 month contract with possible extensions.
The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to :
- Manage the Incident Management process for Desktop Modernisation following ITIL.
- Understand any incident and gather sufficient information to drive resolution
- Manage the incident tracking system and team to provide timely reports on incident states
- Work with the project team and stakeholders to communicate effectively the impacts of incidents and planned resolutions
To be considered for the role you must be able to demonstrate:
- Experience in successfully managing incidents in Federal Government using ITIL.
- Communicates effectively both orally and in writing.
- Produces documentation of high quality.
- Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships.
