We have an exciting permanent opportunity for an experienced Financial Analyst to join a reputable Government owned organisation within their Finance & Corporate business group. In this role, you will work with ambitious professionals and provide financial management support to implement strategies for business process improvements.
Further duties include:
- Monitor, report and analyse financial performance and development
- Co-ordinate the preparation of budgets and quarterly forecasts for our client's business group.
- Significantly contribute to formulating and administering approved general accounting practices throughout the business group to ensure accounting, financial and operating reports accurately reflect the conditions of the business.
- Significantly contribute to designing ongoing improvements to financial reporting to support management decision making within the business group.
- Coordinate the development of business case proposals as required.
- Provide assistance to the Finance Manager and act as their representative as required
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A Degree in Accounting or Business related discipline
- Demonstrated ability to analyse and present financial information across a range of business areas
- Experience preparing budgets and forecasting for large organizations
- Business case development and financial modelling experience using your advanced Excel skills
