Field Engineer (Telecoms - RBS, Huawei)

My client, a major Telecommunications company, are currently looking for Field Engineers to join their team.
As a Field Engineer you will carry out reactive and proactive maintenance on multi-customer, multi technology networks, achieving agreed performance targets
Field Engineer responsibilities and Key Skills:
* Installation, commissioning, integration and maintenance activity on the RBS/RNC 2G/3G product family.
* Carryout project based on site installation, commissioning and integration activities across multi-customer, multi technology networks achieving agreed performance targets.
* Installation, commissioning, integration and maintenance activity on various Microwave product families.
* Assist in the development and review of FSO processes and procedures with a view to maximise efficiency.
* Installation, commissioning, integration and maintenance activity on 2G BSC and Transcoder product families.
* Switch and Field DC power systems: ETL K86/K3, EMERSON-FEN1X, EMERSON-ROBUST ACTURA, Invensys (predominantly maintenance activity)
* Participate in a 24 x 7 callout rota covering all equipment in the Service Area
* Keep diligent records and accurately update both internal FSO, and Customer systems where necessary.
* Installation, commissioning, integration and maintenance activity on the Core transport systems ie DWDM, Daccs, Passport platforms, IP and ATM Router products.
* Exposure of working at heights and tower rescue
