Freelance Developer (Remote from the US)

Description

Big Swing is a growing visual design and communications studio located in Santa Fe, New Mexico. We create custom websites and web applications exclusively using the WordPress content management system.

We seek an indidual who loves WordPress as much as we do, and can work in a variatey of capacities on a project basis. We expect this position to evolve to full-time within 6-12 months.

At Big Swing we work hard and try to avoid late nights and weekends. We all support one another’s balance of life and work. A great sense of humor is essential.

Candidates must have competency in the following areas:

HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, PHP, MySQL

Experience writing semantic markup

Experience using GitHub versioning

Experience building custom WordPress themes

Experience building custom WordPress plugins

Experience building custom WordPress widgets

Experience with deploy techonology a plus

Experience using SaaS a plus
