Contractual/Freelance: Front-End User Experience Web Developer

We are seeking to hire a contractual Front-End User Experience Web Developer to join our member facing technology team. This position requires working with internal IT teams to understand requirements, implement tools, widgets, and web pages that help members access and understand CEB research. A successful candidate must have a strong understanding of front end web technologies as well as best practices for web user experience.
Key Responsibilities
Own the requests related to front-end design Create cross browser widgets, web pages, and tools for web products Ensure consistency across all program websites Document technical specifications and detailed designs for all changes pushed to the websites Provide production support for all implemented changes Stay current on UI/UX best practices and website trends to improve member experience
Role Qualifications
Expertise in front-end web technologies including HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, XML, HTML5, and CSS3Strong understanding of User Experience (UX) design and best practicesExperience in building, managing, and hosting websites on Internet Information Services (IIS)Understanding of web content publishing processes Experience in Interwoven CMS products would be a plus

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
B.S. in a Computer Science, Information Systems related degree, or significant related professional experience2 – 4 years of experience in an IT or Business environment
