Trading Systems Support AnalystOur client is looking to fill a Trading Systems Support Analyst role in Midtown Manhattan. Maximum salary of 135K.
Responsibilities:
- Problem solving by providing level one and level two support for production systems
- Working with traders to understand their needs
- Creating methods to develop and architect solutions
- Aiding in design and implementation of support systems to maximize reliability and self-correction
- Acting as primary technical contact for exchanges and brokers
- Maintaining and reporting on status of systems
Necessary Qualities:
- Bachelors degree in computer science or related field
- Strong knowledge of Linux, SQL and use of databases
- Scripting abilities for Perl, Bash, Python or shell
- Experience with Java (a plus)
- Willingness to tackle both small and large tasks
- Strong problem solving skills
- Ability and drive to manage numerous tasks in fast-paced environment
