Computer Futures are currently looking for a Software Engineer to join a growing key client based in the Newport area.This varied and demanding role which would suit someone who is proactive and able to run your own projects independently. You will be getting involved with brand new software solutions for a varied client base and also updating and maintaining current applications.
Your contribution will be essential and key to the company's future growth and your success will lead to future career progression as the company continues to grow.
This will be a mixture of web and desktop applications and software but mostly desktop based.
Key skills:

- SQL Development / Reporting

Bonus Skills:
- VB6
- WPF / Winforms
- Java
- XML
- Experience of RS232 and USB communications protocols and Ethernet set-up
You will need good communication skills as you will need to discuss technical requirements with non technical people on a daily basis and share ideas and skills with your fellow colleagues.
This role can pay up to £40,000 and can interview immediately.
