GoldenSource Developer - £850/day - LondonMy client, a leading Global Bank is looking for a contractor to join their team in London, for a rolling 6 month contract, paying top-end market rates!!
The successful candidate will be involved in the Oracle upgrade of the Hub counterparty system, built around GoldenSource product and will cover upgrading the Hub from:
o Oracle 10 to Oracle 11
o GS 7.3.3 to GS 8.4
o Oracle Workflow 2.6.3.5 to GS Workflow
Experience and Attributes
* Essential Key skills
o GoldenSource experience
o Must include version 7.3 and 8.3 or 8.4
o Workflow knowledge
o Must include GS workflow and Oracle workflow
o Good Oracle / SQL development skills
o GoldenSource 'streetmap' proprietary database schema
* Very desirable
o UI customisation and MSF publishing definition and usage
o Messaging infrastructures to include Oracle AQ and MQ
o Good SQL skills and experience of SQL Developer, Toad, SQLPlus plus etc.
o Some C++ or Java knowledge would be beneficial
o Unix experience (preferably Solaris), shell scripting and Tomcat web servers
