General Purpose
Directly manage large scale projects and act as the point of contact for the assigned project. Management includes budget oversight, technicians or IBP direction, SLA and other direct project requirements. Construction Managers will serve as the subject matter expert associated with the assigned client processes and procedures requirements. Will assist Project Manager in technically qualifying contractors or IBPs. Assist in the planning and obtaining information needed for proposals, materials requirements, permits, etc.

Essential Duties
  • Work with the Supervisor and Project Manager developing a large scale project implementation plan to ensure all project milestones are met.
  • Responsible for managing established project implementation plan.
  • Work with engineering team to gather information needed to complete installation such as material quantities and measurements. Assist in determining any additional contractor needs.
  • Establishes working relationship with main contacts on job site.
  • Work closely with the Engineer and Supervisor to produce necessary bid information for the project
  • Understand all aspects of assigned project including all SLA's and Budgets.
  • Ensure that professionalism is maintained by the implementation team at all times.
  • Provide progress updates to Project Managers and consult with them on any possible change orders.
  • Responsible for adjustments to the implementation plan, as necessary, to ensure project's targets are met.
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction.
  • Direct and inspect implementation team members to follow safety standards.
Time and Cost Management
  • Follow the manpower tracker and communicate effectively with Supervisor regarding schedule.
  • Ensure that all company and customer emails are read and responded to in less than 24 hours.
  • Assist in the development of processes to save time and improve project efficiencies.
  • Complete all documentation needed for proposals in a timely and professional manner
  • Be the Project Managers go to person on all aspects of the implementation of the project assigned
Communication Management
  • Communicate effectively on daily basis with the Project Manager.
  • Schedule and direct regular meetings with team and provide overall job progress and to promote job efficiencies.
  • Responsible for the communications needed for all construction related issues
  • Attend any onsite meetings required by client. Provide information gathered in meeting to applicable parties. 
Safety:
  • Enforce safety measures and all company safety regulations including required OSHA standards.
Work Environment
  • When not in the office the position will encounter various work environments in the field including but not limited to office space, warehouse, refineries, power plants, manufacturing facilities, new construction environments, hotels, airports, and agencies.
Additional Information
  • The primary duty of this position consists of Construction Manager work directly related to the management or general business operations of the employer. The work includes exercising discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance. Therefore, this position qualifies as an Administrative Exemption to the Fair Labor Standards Act.
SKILLS:

Education and/or Experience
  • A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
  • Five to Eight years experience leading low-voltage installations in a large construction environment.
Skills/Specialties
  • Blueprints and Contractor Management.
  • Ability to thoroughly understand project Financials, manage technical manpower, coordinate travel, and is familiar with technical equipment.
  • Preferred RF experience
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
  • An active low voltage license from at least one US State is required.
  • Certifications include Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)-30 Hour Certification

Physical Demands
  • Minimal time is spent sitting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. A moderate amount of time is spent climbing or balancing. The majority of time is spent standing, walking, using hands to point, handle or feel, and reaching with hands and arms.
  • The ability to speak and hear is required.
