My client a leading Government department is looking for an SAP Lead Functional Consultant - Plant maintenance to join their team on an initial 6 month contract basis with possibility of extension.The Lead Plant Maintenance Functional Consultant will report to the Functional and GIS Team Lead for general direction, guidance, daily tasks management at the same time ensuring alignment with the defined methodology, standards, processes and tools.
Purpose and scope of the position:
To act as the senior SAP Plant Maintenance Functional Consultant and to provide consulting services including:
- Design, configure and deploy SAP Plant Maintenance functionality across number of SAP Modules and integration to other systems including:
-
- Integration with Controlling and Finance
- Integration with SRM
- Integration with Project Systems
- Reporting delivered via BW and
- Integration with ESRI (Geospatial system for holding coordinate data of assets)
- Integration experience in integration between Plant Maintenance (ECC enhancement pack 5), and GIS
- Configure and testing the solution in accordance with the signed off business blueprints
- Plan and lead the work for the Plant Maintenance, Finance and SRM Integration work for the remaining build, test and deployment phases
- Manage the delivery of the Business Warehouse reports for Plant Maintenance
- Participate in multi-disciplinary internal and external project teams
- Guide the other SAP Functional Consultants to ensure a fully integrated ERP system meets my clients business requirements.
- Work with all other areas of the ERP Project including Data Migration, Systems Integration, Business Analysts and Business Subject Matter experts to identify and document the all the required attributes In Scope for all aspects of the ERP/Property Program.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Tertiary and appropriate computing qualifications and substantial knowledge and above 10 years of experience as an SAP Plant Maintenance with strong exposure to SAP Finance and Procurement (Ideally SRM) working within a large complex organisations
- Experience in leading/Guiding a small team of Functional consultants to deliver and integrated Plant Maintenance solution.
- Extensive experience in the implementation of large scale SAP systems.
- Over 6 years of experience with SAP Plant Maintenance within Asset management and associated modules
- Proven experience in the area of integration between Plant Maintenance and GIS
- Proven experience in the area of Plant Maintenance Enhancement Pack 5
- Proven experience and success in contracts of a similar size and scope
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Experience in planning and monitoring work for a small team including their own work, ideally in Microsoft Project
- Exceptional task management skills
- Experience/knowledge of the applications of IT in local government would be highly regarded
