Position Description:
Candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. And be able to test a variety of projects that may include but are not limited to PeopleSoft HRMS, web, E-commerce, and Intranet both custom and third-party, Windows-based applications in Microsoft.NET and Java technologies.
Must have 5-10 years software testing experience. Candidate must be well versed in functional aspects of PeopleSoft HRMS HR, Benefits Administration, Payroll, Time & Labor, and GL Interface with insight into technical aspects.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years Software Testing Experience
- 4 + years proven ERP system testing experience
- Experience with PeopleSoft HRMS version 8.9 or higher
- Candidate must be able to map requirements to test scripts and validate not only documented requirements but validate current functionality against identified business processes and test scenarios.
- Candidate must have exemplified superior knowledge in understanding of business requirements, processes and implementation approaches for three or more of the following PeopleSoft HRMS modules: PeopleSoft HR, PeopleSoft Benefits Administration, PeopleSoft Payroll, PeopleSoft Time & Labor or General Ledger Interface
- Technical proficiency with SQL and PS/Query for reviewing data, troubleshooting and testing/validating source system data
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities effectively and efficiently
- Senior level knowledge of testing processes, methodologies, and best practices
- Understanding of all phases of the software development life cycle
- Ability to execute functional, system, integration, regression, and various other types of testing as appropriate
- Experience with Test Cast Management tools, Quality Center and TFS a plus
- Experience with Defect Tracking tools (ie Quality Center, Jira)
- Experience testing Client Server and Web/Internet Applications
- Ability to executing functional, system, integration, regression, and various other types of testing as appropriate
- Ability to create and execute test plans and test cases
- Experience with data validation
Technical background preferred; hands-on experience with programming languages such as Java, C#, Microsoft .NET a huge plus
