Description
An exciting opportunity is currently available in Stockholm, Sweden for an English-speaking Application Tester to work in the Back Office team of the ICT Infrastructure section of our client. This position is located in the Public Sector.
We are looking for candidates with the following profile:
Specific Requirements:
- Clear professional focus in software quality assurance and testing
- Proven knowledge of one or more test methodologies
- Proven experience in software testing (script-based, integration, functional and acceptance testings)
- Proven experience in agile development processes
- Proven experience in testing and quality assurance in development of web-based applications developed in the .NET framework, and/or on the SharePoint or CRM platform
- Proven experience in writing test cases and also experience of testing against test cases
- Excellent communication skills in order to communicate with end users
- Certifications in the field of software quality assurance is advantageous
- Experience with surveillance and/or laboratory data is advantageous
- Experience with the following tools is advantageous: Team Foundation Server, SQL, Visual Studio, MS Dynamics, MS DOS Scripting
Language skills:
- Excellent English (written/oral).
- Swedish skills are not required.
Tasks:
- Perform regression testing, functional and non-functional testing to identify defects in the systems developed and maintained by the section;
- Review specifications prior development start in regards to clarity;
- Create test cases based on the system documentation;
- Participate in the development team and work on development tasks;
- Provide reports about the tests conducted;
- Report to the head of the Development section.
This position is offered as a freelance contract with a duration of approximately 1 year and a start in February 2014.
