An exciting opportunity is currently available in Stockholm, Sweden for an English-speaking Senior .NET Developer. This position is located in the Public Sector.

We are looking for candidates with the following profile:

Specific Requirements:

  • Proven experience with system maintenance, further development and refactoring of existing systems;
  • Proven knowledge of C# and the .NET framework;
  • Proven knowledge of ASP.NET;
  • Proven knowledge of T-SQL and experience with MS SQL Server ;
  • Proven experience in Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) and Entity Framework (EF) in .NET 4;
  • Proven experience with implementation of SOAP and web services;
  • Experience with data-oriented and metadata-driven systems advantageous;
  • Experience of SharePoint is advantageous;
  • Experience with the tools used by the client is advantageous;
  • Visual Studio 2010, Team Foundation Server, ASP.NET, MS SQL Management Studio/MS SQL Profiler, RedGate SQL Compare and RedGate SQL Data Compare.

Language skills:

  • Excellent English (written/oral).
  • Swedish skills are not required.

Tasks:

  • Implement and maintain new and existing systems developed by the section, and based on the .NET framework;
  • Maintain the code base and fix bugs as reported in Team Foundation Server;
  • Provide third-level support to the ICT Infrastructure section;
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of test activities to ensure an acceptable quality;
  • Report to the head of the .NET development group.

This position is offered as a freelance contract with a duration of approximately 1 year and a start in December.
