Brief summary of role:
This role will work within the development team, developing and unit testing solutions to meet business requirements in a timely manner. Development at is done within larger programmes of work using individual agile streams and within that framework this role will be required to implement fully robust software solutions, working closely with the QA team members to develop a repeatable, end-to-end testing process.
In this role you'll ?
? Ensure solutions are robust and technically fit for purpose and in line with technology strategy.
? Ensure solutions achieve the required quality standards by implementing unit level testing and also working directly with the QA team to implement repeatable, full end to end testing.
? Participate in a peer group of other Developers for the purposes of knowledge sharing.
? Mentor junior developers and foster knowledge and skills transfer, to remove key person dependencies.
? Follow the organisation's documentation, standards, methods and procedures.
? Collaborate with business analysts & product owners to contribute to the definition and understanding of incoming requirements.
? Work as part of an Agile team implementing software development best practices.
Technical requirements:
? A thorough understanding of Agile development and delivery.
? A proven record of delivering successful applications on top of
Service/Sales, Cloud applications, and/or standalone business applications with:
- Point/Click Development
- Apex
- Visualforce
? Experience of integrating Salesforce with other web and server based systems.
? Salesforce API (Rest/SOAP).
Desirable?.
? Service Cloud implementations.
? Experience in working with online subscription/billing management
platforms, e.g. Zuora.
? Experience of installing/integrating Salesforce AppExchange solutions.
? Advanced Developer (501) certified part or full.
