IT Process Improvement Specialist - CMMI, CMMI-Dev 1.3, SDLCPlease read on if you have the following:
- SEI CMMI-Dev 1.3 certification, experience or training
- Process improvement experience from an IT perspective (rather than a business standpoint)
Expertise in Six Sigma, Agile and ITIL are all highly desirable but the key to the role is CMMI knowledge and understanding of the SDLC in an enterprise-scale environment.
Our client is a technology giant in the financial sector. They are keen to see applicants with a background in high volume, high availability systems. The job is to use both the goals of our IT Build division and industry best practices to create a process set of artifacts relating to the software delivery life cycle.
The IT Process Improvement Specialist also drives continuous process improvement for selected areas, escalates risks and issues to the head of Process Improvement and Quality Management and drafts high-level estimates, plans and schedules.
Significant expertise in applying Process Improvement in a software environment is of the essence as the successful candidate will provide guidance around CMMI for IT, IT Build and TPS. Further direction might involve ITIL and Six Sigma.
