Proteus Europe operating as an employment agency, is currently seeking a Senior FW/SW Engineer to join one of our prestigious clients based in Norway. The successful candidate will be joining the R&D Test and Verification Group.This Group is responsible for the verification and validation activities for design projects and products. Our team consists of both SW/FW and HW verification specialists (most team members have a design background). The verification process is an integral part of the development cycle with verification engineers taking an active part in all stages of bringing a product to market.

Profile:
You are a Senior Firmware/Software Verification Engineer who wants to contribute to our expanding and world-leading R&D team.
Qualifications:
*M.Sc. in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or similar, or B.Sc. with relevant experience.
*Good knowledge of test systems based on continuous integration.
*C and/or Python programming expertise.
*ISTQB certification
*Experience with microcontrollers, real-time systems and wireless protocols.
*Good English communication skills (Norwegian is not required).
Responsibilities:
Working with FW development projects and PC based SW development tools, you will be responsible for the planning and execution of software testing strategies, a crucial activity in the agile development process for products that ship in multimillion volumes. You will also help in the development of advanced methods for code analysis and verification.
*Planning, test systems development, test execution and reporting test activites.
*Improving FW/SW verification methodology.
*Risk - and coverage analysis.
