Service Control Support, ITSM, ITIL Alicante Spain

We require an English-speaker service control support officer responsible for IT services management and reporting on the services provided by the Service towers: Datacenter, Service Desk, End User Computing, Networking and Applications and Middleware, in order to improve the reporting, follow-up and management of the Service towers. You would also be involved in the ITSM processes' definition, improvement and evolution (knowledge of ITSM, ITIL). You will be working in the area of Service Control and Assurance for our client in Alicante for a long term assignment. Initial contract to year end, renewable for one year.

TASKS

As service control support officer you will work with the Service Tower Manager to control, manage and report on the IT services of Datacenter, Service Desk, End User Computing, Networking and Applications and Middleware:

  • Monitoring and Control  (Objectives and CIs)
  • Configuration Management (Management of service assets across its life cycle)
  • ITSM Process Control  (implementation, optimization and continuous improvement)
  • Measurement and Reporting (tracking KPIs, reporting to management & decision-makers)

SKILLS

  • ITIL Foundation (minimum)
  • Experience in IT Service Management - ITSM - (implementation and process control)
  • Expertise in large IT environments
  • Coordination of equipment
  • Experience in analysis and reporting
  • Excellent level of preparation and presentation of reports and PowerPoints
  • Business Object (Crystal Reports), desirable but not mandatory
  • Statistical knowledge

QUALIFICATIONS

  • University degree or equivalent experience.

LANGUAGES

  • A high level of both spoken and written English is required. Minimum accepted level B2 of the CEF (Common European Framework). Spanish is valuable but not essential.
