RESPONSIBILITES AND DUTIES

Project Management

Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders

Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely manner and delegate tasks/responsibilities as needed

Set and continually manage project expectations with team members

Track project milestones and deliverables and provide status reports to senior management

Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyze results, and troubleshoot problem areas

Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project life cycle

Conduct project post mortems and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements

Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management

Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.

Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.

Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project.

Revenue Cycle Management

Responsible for the creation of all revenue related reports and statements at the corporate, state and federal level

Examine revenue cycle processes and recommend more efficient methodologies in relation to new and existing systems

Create and maintain revenue cycle documentation, including work process flows, data and system flows, task lists and other materials that support implementation of new systems and modifications to existing system functions and/or processes

Assist in defining quality assurance testing requirements of Revenue Cycle systems as part of new system implementations and/or existing system changes and participates in system testing

Performs routine error correction, balancing and auditing activities as needed

Helps to identify problems, offer solutions, and participate in their resolution

Keeps abreast of state regulations impacting budget, cost allocation and reimbursement methodologies

Work with Management to ensure ongoing regulatory compliance in Billing Processes

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

A Bachelors of Science degree in a computer and or business related field or equivalent combination of experience

Three to five years of IT related and/or billing system/revenue cycle analysis work experience at a comparable behavioral health, health and human services agency or health care provider

Demonstrated understanding of the full life cycle technical project management and business analysis and a strong understanding of the components of a Program Management Office

Knowledge of standard business processes within an organization

Ability to manage multiple cross-functional projects of varying complexity at any given time

Evidence of strong negotiation, interpersonal and communication skills for working with individuals and teams at all levels of the organization

Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills for the purpose of providing and explaining technical and project related information to senior management, staff, and vendors

Capable of looking for and implementing process improvement ideas to reduce cost, mitigate risks and increase quality

Capable of holding the team and individuals accountable without direct reporting responsibilities

Capable of bringing creative approaches to project leadership

Change Management experience a plus

PMP certification desirable
