Senior Project Manager - Technical Services

This position closes at 3:00 p.m. on Oct 25th, 2013.

This is a 6-12 month contract opportunity.

Our client is looking for a Project Manager with Technical Services experience and some exposure to infrastructure projects.

Required Skills:
• 10+ years of Project Management experience (at a minimum, plus experience with oil and gas projects)
• Formal training and/or Project Management designation as well as knowledge of Project Management best practices
• Demonstrated success managing large, multi-year projects
• A University Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
• Very strong and proven skills when it comes to project planning, budgeting, etc.
• Demonstrate a strategic approach to project management versus a tactical approach where they simply execute a project plan
• Strong facilitation skills (ability to herd cats )
• Self-motivated, self-starters with a real and demonstrated/sustained work ethic
• Change management experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Honesty and integrity
• The proven ability to deal with politics, policy/policy changes, conflict, stress, etc.
