Chase Resourcing, Europe’s leading Education Recruitment Experts, are delighted to announce new positions  for our clients in Saudi Arabia. Our clients are a Saudi Arabia semi State organisation who are planning on opening four new training centers in 2014, which will help them train the next generation of Engineers.

We are presently looking to recruit four College Heads /  Academic Team Leaders who will effectively manage every function of the new institutions.  Your major task will be to safely train, highly competent and efficient work-ready technicians for the power utility industry.  My clients are working towards offering Saudi Nationals a credible and internationally relevant qualification that will enable them to work in industry globally. In all of the training centers, the training staff will be able to  utilize  modern training facilities  in a supportive student environment which is a  key factor in all of the training and development programs on offer.

I am looking for someone from an engineering background who has strong managerial and training experience. You will ideally have previous Saudi Arabian or Middle Eastern working experience and will naturally be very culturally aware to the needs of the students, whilst also managing a multi-national, native English speaking workforce of trainers and teachers.

Requirements:

  • 10 years’ experience as a senior manager in an Engineering training centre a MUST
  • Previous experience of working in the Middle East considered a huge advantage
  • Hold universally recognised industry qualifications, along  with  Third Level degree
  • Be from USA, UK, Canada, Ireland, South Africa, Australia or New Zealand for visa purposes
  • For cultural reasons only male candidates can be considered at this time

Responsibilities

  • Lead the academic and technical training and development components and teams.
  • Implement strategies for academic and technical quality, and work with the management team to implement  wider business plan.
  • Report in a timely way on overall performance.
  • Monitor academic processes within the institution
  • Oversee the processing of all logistical requirements associated with courses being developed and implemented
  • Ensure that the requirements of trainees, instructors and staff are met
  • Ensure smooth operation of the Information Technology System for effective curriculum development, Learning Management System (LMS) and other IT support systems.
  • Establish, develop, review and monitor policies and procedures.
  • Ensure smooth operation of all health and safety aspects ,in line with industry standards.
  • Monitor, coordinate and liaise with all sub-contractors
  • Foster and manage strong relationships with external stakeholders
