This opening is for an Engineering Tech in the Eagle Ford division. The position will support the Business Area Manager and reservoir engineers working the area.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Working with the Aries database as an administrator, setting up new wells and managing the database to ensure tables are populated with current, accurate information
  • Running Aries economics and cash flow reports
  • Generating graphs and one line spreadsheets utilizing Aries information
  • Managing price files, differentials and other Aries inputs
  • Developing AFE packages for all new drill wells
  • Updating flow back data and graphs for all new wells
  • Maintaining well statistics spreadsheet / database
  • Assisting engineers with monthly production and capital re-forecasts


  • Supporting the monthly Capital Management System to evaluate drilling results


  • Pulling information from various sources such as PI/Dwights, state websites and accounting to generate reports or graphs


  • Acting as a liaison with corporate planning, reserves, and multiple asset teams

Requirements
  • Experience as an Engineering Technician is preferred.
  • Excellent computer skills are required.
  • Position requires ability to manage large databases with many records and fields.
  • Experience with Aries, Access, PI/Dwights and Excel is preferred.
  • Good interpersonal and teamwork skills are required. This candidate will be required to interface with many people in and outside of the department.
  • Candidate must be a team player with proven communication skills, capable of working effectively with technical and non-technical personnel.
  • Applicant must be able to work with minimum supervision, and be driven to produce results at both an individual and team level.
  • High school degree with 6+ years or related work expereince or Bachelor's degree with relevant work experience.
