Description
The Senior (or Principal) Design Assurance Engineer (DAE) provides technical leadership and support to new product development teams. The Senior DAE focuses on design related projects and deliverables required by the Product Development Process (PDP). The Senior DAE may also provide project management, technical coaching, and decision-making guidance to other product development team members.Position Responsibilities:
- BS Engineering, Chemistry, or Physics
- MS in Engineering desired
- A minimum of 5 years experience, with at least 3 years experience in the Medical Device industry
- A minimum of 3 years experience in product & process development
- Supervisory or management experience a plus
- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer or Six Sigma Black Belt a plus
- Internationally certified quality auditor designation a plus

- Test Method development and validation

- Statistics

- Combination drug/medical device products
- Strong in Chemical Engineering or Polymer Chemistry
- Able to solve very complex problems that require creativity
