My leading financial services client is looking for a non-life contractor for a short term contractAccountabilities:
*Provide detailed analysis of the groups data to produce best estimates of methodologies and forward-looking assumptions for quantification of property catastrophe risks
*Ensure the timeliness, accuracy and quality of all deliverables. Assist in ensuring the same standards apply to the rest of the team
*Develop reporting on an ongoing basis for property catastrophe risk methodologies, assumptions and associated requirements
*Monitor capital modelling methodologies, propose changes to methods and factors being used in a timely fashion
Key experience required;
* Qualified / Part qualified Actuary
* General Insurance / non-life experience
* Knowledge of statistical and actuarial analysis systems and tools such as ResQ, Igloo etc
* Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
* Knowledge of actuarial reserving and capital modelling techniques
* Highly numerate with strong analytical skills
