Oracle Database Developer - 6 month Contract -Dublin





The position is within an existing Oracle development team with an exciting and growing Irish company.

With clients based across Europe and theUS, the successful Oracle developer will assist in delivering access to critical hidden data across multiple data sources within their current environment. The candidate will have a strong and visible background in Oracle Database Development, PL/ SQL, and ETL skills. The key duties will be to design and implement an efficient and robust database system, assist the current development team in the creation of complex queries, performance tuning and optimization of current applications and the creation and maintenance of ETL processes

Essentials
- 5+ years post qualification development experience in PL/SQL
- Experience of Oracle version 10g
- Basic DBA skills such as backup, recovery, database sizing and analysis of hardware requirements
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, ability to understand complex problems and to generate appropriate technical solutions.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written).Desirable
- Proven experience in designing and developing large data warehouses, including Data modelling
- Experience with building OLAP Cubes with SQL Server Analysis Services
- Experience in designing SSRS reports against relational databases and cubes.
- Exposure to Pervasive 9+
- Experience within an Agile Methodology.
