Design Engineer/Embedded Software/Embedded/ARM/Microcontrollers/ARM-CORTEX

Salary: £40,000 negotiable dependent on experience

Design Engineer needed to join a market leading company based in theManchester. You will be joining a small company who have gone through strength to strength and are now looking to expand the team. Due to this growth in business the company are looking for a hardware/software engineer to report into the design manager.

The role will include:-
Embedded software design and coding
  • Creation of applications software on fixed and wireless networks
  • Verification of existing and new instrumentation platforms
  • Product definition, design and architecture
  • Digital and analogue hardware design

Core skills include:-
  • Embedded processor experience, particularly ARM based platforms
  • Hardware design at component level, analogue and digital
  • Familiarity with Operating Systems such as Linux
  • Qualified to degree level in Electronic Engineering
  • Willing to do what is needed to get the job done
  • An ability to integrate with and enthuse other team members
