Description
My client is on the lookout for an operations manager at present and is looking for someone that is capable of leading and improving a team from the onset of their employment.My client has a long standing and experienced team in terms of length of service and need someone to drive through changes, react quickly and maintain the running of operations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for all operational activities relating to the manufacture of products on a medium/low volume basis.

This role would be ideal for an engineer that has worked their way up in a manufacturing/production environment to a management level.
The right individual need to be a self starter with have confident in their own idea's to help push forward idea's to improve efficiency.
The ideal candidate will have:
- At least 5 years recent experience within a manufacturing/production environment
- Proven experience of implementing process improvement/lean manufacturing
- Worked in low/medium volume production environment
- Is currently either a manufacturing/production manager or currently an operations manager
