Mainframe Developer - Junior
6 month daily rate contract
An international financial services organisation urgently requires an experience Mainframe developer who has a couple of years experience that will gain the opportunity to work in a high level project. This is an immediate start and will require 5 days onsite throughout the contract duration. There is a high likelihood that the contract will be extended.
Due to the importance of the project, the successful candidate will need to be a great problem solver, solutions focused mind-set and energetic. There will be great demands and tight deadlines with this project however the culture within the company is pretty relaxed.
This role is ideal for a developer who has 1-2yrs+ commercial experience and seeking that high-profile project accompanied with the international brand name that will strengthen their contracting portfolio.
You must:
- Have experience in developing with Cobol/Mainframe technologies
- Be able to demonstrate independent working style
- Min 2 years commercial development experience within a financial services organisation
