Senior Java Developer - Financial Services
Established, progressive leading edge technical consultancy is looking for a mid to senior level Contract Java Developer with core Java experience for their CBD office. Anyone with experience of (or aspirations towards) managing small teams is of particular interest.
Must Have Technical Skills:
- Proven Java Developer and / or J2EE software engineering / core Java experience (ideally 5+ years as Java Developer or similar)
- Experience of 'enterprise' applications
- Experience of formal OO concepts and design patterns
- Proven Java 'back-end' development experience
- Solid RDBMS (ie Oracle, SQL and/or SQL Server)
- Application Server (ie JBoss, Apache Tomcat or similar)
- Spring
- Agile
Desirable
- Hibernate
- Web Services
- JBoss Seam
- Integration experience (ideally using opensource technologies)
- Team leading
The Role
The Java Developer will be responsible for working on a variety of different Java projects using the latest Java technology. You will be involved in the full project lifecycle from design, development and testing.
