Job descriptionLooking for an opportunity to work remotely on high profile creative digital products? Thinknerve is seeking talented freelance front-end and back-end developers with immediate and future availability.
Front-end developers must have advanced skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/jQuery as well as a strong understanding for design and layout principles. Experience with SASS/LESS as well as open-source front-end frameworks (e.g. Bootstrap, Bourbon) is a major plus. Front-end developers will be required to take final design PSDs and specifications and turn them into functioning products for desktop and mobile devices.
Back-end developers should be experts in PHP and MySQL and have knowledge of MVC frameworks but also be comfortable working without them or rolling their own as needed. Basic Apache configuration skills (htaccess, mod_rewrite, permissions) is a plus.
All developers must be comfortable collaborating with a remote team in a fast-paced and dynamic online environment.
