Our client in is seeking a MS SharePoint Developer for it's Healthcare sector. Must have Secret Clearance. This is a remote position with lots of travel!

A qualified candidate will be required to be a self-starter and work within a team environment. Candidates must have demonstrated software engineering expertise specifically with Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft .NET, WinRT, and Windows API experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide web content support across technology stacks for SharePoint Including the planning, designing, development and maintenance of SharePoint site collections, lists, libraries, workflows and solution files. This may include: - Designing, developing and maintaining key components of SharePoint sites using Microsoft .Net and SharePoint Server 2007 and 2010. - Requirements analysis and development of solutions for all tiers of the application: user interface, middle-tier business components, database layer, etc. - Architecture and design of SharePoint implementations using best practices. - Implementation and customization of SharePoint-based solutions - Implementation of SharePoint-based workflows - Microsoft .NET development to extend and augment the SharePoint platform - Development of custom web parts - Design and development of Business Intelligence dashboards - Lead the design and planning of architecture to support goals of the project - Code, unit test, design and resolve defects for applications, systems, components and interfaces - Identify user requirements, translate and produce effective designs, specs and solutions - Provide high quality consultation to business partners - Demonstrate ability in acquiring business domain expertise - Follow established enterprise development and design standards, guidelines and processes - Enforcement of standards and best practices - Proactively communicates with the team and management to anticipate configuration management issues/processes - Ensure deadlines are met, yet be forthright on progress and flexible - Proactively seeks opportunities to implement improvements to internal team processes - Contributes to an atmosphere of cross-functional teamwork within the organizations Agile project lifecycle

Requirements:
  • 5+ years experience analyzing, designing and implementing integration solutions using Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft .NET, WinRT, and Windows API’s. - Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
  • Hands-on experience developing SharePoint applications
  • Expert in using and managing change management tools, Visual Source Safe, Team Foundation Version Control, Git, etc.
  • Experience with a wide variety of testing tools and techniques, ex. xUnit frameworks
  • Understanding of SDLC and Scrum/Agile
