For one of our clients - an international private bank - we are looking for a AML Specialist profile, having a strong exposure to AML and KYC matters, able to bring a real expertise within the team. The position is defined until January 2015.The ROLE
You will be providing support and consult the business in AML and STF matters. Your main duties will be:
* Checking the account opening documents of new clients and arranging KYC checks
* Approval or refusal recommendation for accounts
* Good interaction with Front Office regarding KYC, documentation and also provide advice regarding PEP, Higher Risk Clients and other higher risk areas
* Direct cooperation with the Business Risk Managers on PEP and Higher Risk Clients
* Draft AML compliance procedure manuals
* ad hoc projects
The REQUESTED profile
The eligible candidate will have the following skills:
* Degree in law, business or finance (AML/compliance related is a +)
* min. 4 years of experience (AML/Compliance area in private banking)
* Strong knowledge in FINMA regulations
* Experience in a risk control environment, ideally a Private Bank
* Risk management and compliance experience within global and complex structures
* Good communication skills, flexible and team player
* Fluent in German and English
* EU or Swiss passport
